The fall season tends to see a lot of new job openings, including remote jobs! With the summer months behind us, vacations wrapped up, and kids back in school, companies are ready to tackle the process of bringing on new talent. So, if you haven’t already, now is as good a time as any to start a remote job search!

1. Mod Contractor at Mod Squad
ModSquad has plenty of moderation work from home jobs throughout the year. As a Mod, you might chat with customers, create buzz on social media, or moderate forums.
Really, the work you’ll do at Mod Squad depends on the contract you sign on for. Keep in mind, Mod Squad hires Mods as independent contractors. So, the amount of work available will vary. However, I’ve heard of a number of Mods who go on to work with Mod Squad for years.

2. Voice of The Customer Online Advisor at Dyson
You probably know of Dyson as the vacuum people. I know I’ve had my eye on one of their highly-rated vacuums for some time now. But, did you know that Dyson also has work from home jobs?
Most of the virtual positions available at Dyson involve customer service. But these aren’t typical call center jobs. Instead, you’ll assist customers via social media, chat, email, and phone. You might even respond to online reviews left on major retailers, like Amazon.
This unique home-based customer service job is available to US residents. You should have previous customer service experience, a high school diploma, and ability to type at least 50 WPM to be considered.
3. Appraisal Coordinator at EXL
EXL is in the insurance business. I frequently come across a variety of insurance-related work from home jobs here like auditors, investigators, and title researchers.
Currently, EXL is seeking an Appraisal Coordinator to join their team. The Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for scheduling Appraisers and creating efficient routes for them.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must as well as being able to work independently from your home office.
4. On-Call Scheduler at Humana
Healthcare is big business. And while we don’t typically associate doctors and nurses with work from home jobs, there are plenty of remote jobs in this field.
Humana is one of the larger healthcare players with a remote-friendly company culture. Currently, they’re looking for On Call Schedulers to join their team.
Schedulers pre-register patients for care outside of their PCP. You act as the middleman between the patient and referring specialist. This is part-time work with varied hours.
5. Aira Agent at Aira
Aira employs Aira Agents to assist blind and low-vision individuals with day-to-day tasks. This can include everything from reading a book to shopping assistance and even cooking meals.
This is one of the more unique work from home jobs out there and isn’t your typical customer service position. That’s why Aira has its very own certification process for new Agents you must complete.
Currently, Aira needs agents available on weekends. Typical times needed would be Friday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
6. Customer Support Agent at Designlab
Do you have a passion for education? Love design and creative work? Then Designlab has a great job for you.
As a Customer Support Agent, you will assist mentors and students via phone and email. Your goal is to help build a community where users are able to serve themselves.
This is a work from anywhere job, as long as you have access to high-speed internet. Working days will be Sunday through Thursday.
7. Executive Assistant at Double
Are you an amazing organizer, tech savvy and powerhouse productivity pro? Then consider joining the Executive Assistant Team at Double.
Double pairs busy professionals with Executive Assistants to help them get more done in a day. In fact, Double helps their users save 2 hours each day by outsourcing work to skilled Assistants.
Sound great? You should definitely check out the contract positions available at Double. (Keep in mind there are tons of other work from home jobs as a virtual assistant too!)
8. Remote Jobs at Zapier
It’s no secret that I love companies that have built remote work into their company culture. And that’s why I just had to include Zapier in this week’s list of Top 10 Work From Home Jobs.
As I type this, there are 42 open jobs at Zapier. I couldn’t pick just one so I included them all!

9. Showbiz Content Writer at The CheatSheet
CheatSheet is a pop media company. Their goal is to provide up-to-date and accurate Entertainment News that saves their readers time.
Currently, CheatSheet is seeking Showbiz Content Writers to join their team. You should be able to cover a variety of entertainment topics and develop your own story ideas.
Candidates must be able to work weekends and three days during the week. Working knowledge of SEO and WordPress are a plus but not a requirement!
10. Product Marketer at Help Scout
Help Scout is a platform that helps small and midsize businesses deliver the best customer support possible. Currently, Help Scout is building a marketing team to assist in getting their next 10,000 customers. That’s where you can help.
As a Product Marketer you’ll help demonstrate the value of Help Scout, design and develop product launches, and support content marketing.

There you have it, my top 10 work at home jobs hiring this week. From Admissions Advisor to sales rep (and so much in between), there are no shortage of opportunities for you to kick your cubicle to the curb.
Remember, I don’t expect that you find your dream job from this list (but if you do, that’s pretty awesome!). Instead, I hope you find inspiration in the variety of remote-friendly positions and companies that are out there without having to resort to MLM and network marketing.
